I, lithographic frontispiece to vol. II, numerous illustrations, charts, diagrams and maps (some folding, 1 folding in pocket at rear of vol. I). (Light marginal browning.) Original decorated cloth (head and foot of spines somewhat bumped). Provenance: Frank L. Harris (address labels to preliminary blanks); Mrs R.W. McCormick (presentation label to:); Farnsworth Art Museum. - And two other volumes (Adolphus W. Greely, 'Three Years of Arctic Service', New York: 1886. 2 vols., 8vo, original cloth) (4).
