DICKENS, Charles. Little Dorrit. London: Bradbury and Evans, 1857. First edition in book form, 1 vol. in two, 8vo (213 x 132mm.) Engraved frontispiece, additional decorative title, 38 plates. (Some browning and spotting, standard title-page bound in vol. II.) Contemporary blue calf, by Clyde, the spines gilt in six compartments with raised bands, lettering pieces in the second and fourth compartments, the others with repeat decoration in gilt, gilt turn-ins (spines slightly rubbed). Provenance: Frederick Perkins (armorial bookplate).
