DICKENS, Charles. Dombey and Son. London: Bradbury and Evans, 1848. First edition in book form, 8vo (210 x 124mm.) Frontispiece, engraved additional decorative title, 38 plates. (Some spotting and browning, mostly to plates.) Modern half-calf over contemporary marbled boards (minor scuffs). Note: the title vignette has Cuttle's hook on his left hand, and 'Capatin' on final line of p.324.
