HALL, James. Travels in Scotland by an Unusual Route: with a Trip to the Orkneys and Hebrides. London: printed for J. Johnson, 1807. 2 vols. in one, 8vo (233 x 138mm.) Engraved double-page map, 29 plates. (Map and plates spotted, some offsetting.) Late 19th Century half-calf, spine gilt in six compartments with raised bands, morocco lettering piece to the second compartment, the others with repeat decoration in gilt (extremities slightly scuffed, spine slightly rubbed and darkened).
