RYAN, Frederick W. Malta painted by Vittorio Boron. London: Adam & Charles Black, 1910. 4to (220 x 153mm.) 20 colour plates by Boron, 1 folding map, extra-illustrated with a folding map loosely inserted. (Occasional minor spotting,) Original decorative cloth (soiled and damp-stained, extremities slightly bumped). Provenance: 'Miss Olive' (presentation inscription from the R.A.M.C. Detachment, Hamrun Hospital, dated Christmas 1915, the half-title and opposing leaf signed by twenty-three members of the Royal Army Medical Corps). - And a quantity of others, various (a quantity).
