An olivewood bound book, Wild Flowers of The Holy Land, containing numerous pressed flowers, the first page with applied typed inscription 'A small memory from the Holy Land on board Saunterer given to Lawrence Oates by... J.A. Chadwick, Late of Yatton Park, Tauranga, North Island New Zealand' (faults). Note: Oates was a member of the British Antarctica Expedition of 1910. Purportedly this book was a gift to him prior to joining the army on the outbreak of the Boer War.
