A late 20th Century Louis XVI style writing desk in the manner of Jean Henri Riesener, with overall applied cast ormolu mounts, the top inset with gilt tooled leather above an arrangement of five frieze drawers opposing dummy drawers, the central drawer with an applied rectangular plaque cast with putto and dolphins, the other drawers and sides with overall inlaid lattice panels, raised on square tapering legs, width approx 111cm, depth approx 56cm, height approx 79cm.
