LOT 2641
A pair of early 20th Century white painted cast iron Rustic pattern garden benches, probably Coalbrookdale, the backs cast with entwined branches of fruiting vine and stamped with an indistinct number, probably '78766', with pierced cast slatted seats, width approx 181cm. Note: the design for the benches, number 78766, was registered and patented at the Public Records Office by the Coalbrookdale Foundry on 7th April 1851, and appears as number 18 in the 1875 Castings Catalogue, Section III, page 253.
