A 19th Century satinwood harp by 'Clle Pleyel & Cie, Facteurs du Roi, Rue Cadet No. 9, à Paris', the downswept neck with inscribed manufacturer's marks and 'Harpes à Simple et à Double Mouvement par Brevet d'Invention', the gilt composition head moulded with acanthus leaves flanking caryatids and putto herms, the fluted column terminating in a gilt base fitted with pedals and paw feet, height approx 168cm (faults).
