A collection of postcards, photographs and other ephemera relating to Frank J. Clarke, who was an engineer with A.C. Cars, including photographs of auto-carriers, various cars, including Rolls Royce and A.C., some motorcycles, F.J. Clarke's obituary mentioning First World War work on Sopwith Camels and development of the system for synchronising machine guns to fire through a rotating propeller, a reprinted review, dated July 1 1912, where auto-carriers are made, The History of A.C. Cars Ltd 1952, and a photograph of Caffyns Garage, Haywards Heath, 1923.
