JOHNS, W.E. Biggles Fails to Return. London: Hodder & Stoughton Limited, 1943. First edition, 8vo (185 x 118mm.) Colour frontispiece and occasional uncoloured illustrations by Stead. (Minor spotting.) Original cloth (slightly affected by damp and discoloured), dust-jacket (torn with minor loss). - And forty-two others by Captain W.E. Johns, most featuring Biggles (43).
