MARRYAT, Joseph. A History of Pottery and Porcelain, Mediaeval and Modern… second edition. London: John Murray, 1857. 8vo (213 x 133mm.) 6 coloured plates, uncoloured illustrations. (Occasional spotting.) Contemporary red and black mottled calf, by Clyde, the covers with centrally-placed armorial in gilt, the spine in six compartments with raised bands, lettering piece in the second compartment, the others with repeat decoration in gilt, gilt turn-ins, g.e. (upper joint splitting). Provenance: Frederick Perkins (armorial bookplate to front pastedown; binding). - And seven others, various (8).
