DRAKE, Edward Cavendish. A New Universal Collection of Authentic and Entertaining Voyages and Travels. London: J. Cooke, 1768. Folio (368 x 238mm.) Engraved frontispiece, title printed in red and black, 51 engraved plates ?only, 9 engraved maps (1 folding). (Somewhat damp-stained, light browning, occasional minor creasing, some offsetting.) Contemporary calf (worn, upper cover detached, stitching weak and first and last few leaves now loosely inserted). Provenance: John Maryon Wilson (armorial bookplate).
