Professor Otto Poertzel - an early 20th Century German cold painted and silvered cast bronze and ivory figure of The Blue Boy, after the painting by Thomas Gainsborough, modelled holding a plumed hat and wearing breeches, standing on a circular base with cast signature 'Prof. Poertzel', raised on an octagonal slate plinth, height approx 19cm.
