An early 18th Century German brass universal equinoctial ring dial, engraved to the outer and inner rings with latitudes of European cities, the reverse of the inner ring engraved twice with 1-10 in Arabic numerals, the bridge with sliding pin-hole sight against calendrical and zodiacal declination scales, the outer edge with sliding throne and suspension hole, diameter approx 7.2cm.
