NICHOLSON, William (illustrator). - Rudyard KIPLING. An Almanac of Twelve Sports. London: William Heinemann, 1898. 4to (311 x 244mm.) 12 full-page coloured lithographic illustrations by Nicholson. (Some browning, spotting and offsetting.) Original pictorial paper-covered boards (extremities darkened and lightly soiled, spine slightly chipped and frayed, inner hinges split). Provenance: 'Uncle Bonnie' (presentation inscription 'from Jack & Salisbury [struck-through] Toby, Christmas 1897' to front free endpaper).
