BALDERWOOD (?compiler). A manuscript book titled on the spine 'Medical Receipt Book' [N.p.: n.d. but circa 1800?] 419pp. of recipes (6pp. pasted-in), 21pp. index and blanks, 4to (215 x 173mm.) (Some spotting and browning.) Original black Russia, the covers blocked in blind, the spine in six unequal compartments, lettered in gilt to the second and last, the other compartments with repeat decoration in blind, gauffered g.e. (spine slightly rubbed and scuffed).
