A mid-19th Century silver castle top card case, possibly American, of shaped rectangular form with hinged cover, one side decorated in relief with a Gothic building framed by trees, above scallop shells, flowers and foliage, the reverse with flowers, scallop shells and scrolls, 'L & W' makers mark, length approx 8.8cm.
