A pair of German silver gilt and ivory figures of Theoderich the Great and a queen, each with carved ivory facial detail and raised on a vari-coloured gem set pierced octagonal base, height approx 11.5cm. Note: the figure of Theoderich the Great, King of the Ostrogoths, is after the original by Peter Vischer, which is found in the court church at Innsbruck.
