LOT 2907
A George III gentleman's suit of midnight blue facecloth, the breeches with fall front and button fastening, the jacket with wigtail pouch, together with a waistcoat, all having cut steel buttons, the jacket and waistcoat with lace trimming. Provenance: Lot 171 in Phillips Period Costume, Couture, 1920s & 1930s Dresses, Linen & Lace sale, Thursday 28 November 1985, and reputed to have been in the family of the actor David Garrick.
