BINDINGS. - John RUSKIN. Fors Clavigera. Orpington, Kent: George Allen, 1871-1877. 7 vols., 8vo (225 x 139mm.) Plates. (Some light spotting.) Contemporary tree-calf by Tout, the spines gilt in six compartments with raised bands, lettering pieces in the second and third compartments, the others with repeat decoration in gilt, gilt turn-ins, t.e.g. (extremities lightly scuffed and bumped, head of vol. I slightly chipped). - And six other volumes, all part-works by Ruskin, bound to match. Provenance: Seward Brice (armorial bookplates to some vols.) (13).
