An 18th Century Italian walnut serpentine fronted bureau with overall crossbanded borders, foliate inlaid strapwork and applied ebonized mouldings, the fall-flap enclosing a fitted interior, the frieze fitted with a small single drawer above three long drawers flanked by canted corners, on carved scroll feet, height approx 109cm, width approx 122cm (alterations and restoration).
