A Chinese midnight blue silk embroidered jacket, late 19th/early 20th Century, worked in blue and cream thread with scattered foliate roundels, bats, flowers, fruit and insects on a midnight blue ground, within borders of green, iron red and blue flowers, fruit and insects, the cream cuffs filled with figures, trees and flowers, and fitted with gilt metal fastenings, length approx 104cm (minor faults).
