A pair of Japanese lacquered steel stirrups (abumi batto), Meiji period, with red lacquered treads, each curved front decorated with a red dragon on a black/dark brown ground, rising to a pierced plate incorporating a loop buckle for suspension, height approx 25cm (minor faults).
