A gold and enamel oval mourning brooch, circa 1797, the central glazed hair locket in a black enamelled surround inscribed in gilt 'In death lamented as in life beloved', within a white enamelled border, the reverse inscribed and dated '1797', length approx 2.4cm (minor faults and possibly converted from a ring).
