A Japanese softwood framed silk embroidered four-fold screen, Meiji period, one side worked in coloured threads with a continuous scene of two red capped cranes and their nesting young on a pine branch, the reverse with uniform lotus design woven backing, approx 171.5cm x 260cm (some faults).
