An early 20th Century boxwood and ebony Staunton chess set by Jaques & Son, London, with weighted bases, height of king 9.1cm, the two kings marked in red 'Jaques London', other pieces marked with red crown, within a mahogany box, the interior of the lid with a possibly later label (some minor faults), together with a leather board (faults).
