A late 18th Century Dutch marquetry roll-top bureau, decorated with overall inlaid panels of flower-charged urns, scrolling foliage and ribbon banding, the roll-top and slide-out writing surface revealing an interior of cascading drawers and a central cupboard flanked by leather bound faux book spines, one fitted as a secret compartment, the three breakfront drawers flanked by fluted and canted corners, on fluted tapering legs, height approx 118cm, width approx 127cm.
