THE PRIMER. The Primer Set Furth By the Kinges Majestie & His Clergie. London: Richard Grafton, '1546' [but circa 1710]. 16mo (178 x 110mm.) Title printed in red and black, 1 full-page woodcut illustration, black letter with historiated initials, neat manuscript page numbers. (Some browning, occasional spotting, minor marginal worm damage, shaved with minor loss to a few headings, ink inscription to title page.) 18th Century panelled calf (rebacked, extremities slightly scuffed). Provenance: Henry Homer (19th Century label to front pastedown). Note: facsimile style reprint.
