BIBLE, in English and Greek. The English Hexapla exhibiting the Six Important English Translations of the New Testament Scriptures. London: [n.d. but circa 1853.] Large 4to (311 x 230mm.) (Some spotting.) Contemporary morocco blocked in blind, lettered in gilt to the spine, wide gilt turn-ins, gauffered g.e. (slightly scuffed, upper joint splitting.) Contained within contemporary purple calf box (scuffed and rubbed). Provenance: B. Auber Leach (elaborate presentation morocco onlay with vellum panel signed by various hands and dated September 1853 to inner cover).
