SHACKLETON, Ernest. South, the Story of Shackleton's Last Expedition 1914-1917. London: William Heinemann, 1919. First edition, tall 8vo (248 x 151mm.) Colour frontispiece, half-title, folding map, numerous full-page illustrations. (Heavy browning and occasional light spotting, half-title torn with marginal loss.) Original cloth (extremities somewhat bumped and discoloured, lower cover dented, folding map torn at fold and now loosely inserted).
