An Art Nouveau walnut and marquetry veneered lady's bureau by Émile Gallé, the crossbanded top with a moulded edge above a fall flap, the shaped panel, sides and frieze inlaid with overall stylized flowers in various woods, bearing incised signature 'Émile Gallé, Nancy' and 'E G' with Cross of Lorraine monogram, the shaped apron raised on cabriole legs tapering to shaped feet, height approx 97cm, width approx 72cm.
