A Japanese Satsuma earthenware koro and cover by Hozan, Meiji period, the compressed circular body painted with opposing figural and coastal landscape panels within polychrome enamel and gilt 'Y' diaper borders, beneath a pair of pierced gilt fan shaped handles, gilt signature to base, diameter approx 13cm (probably matched cover).
