IRELAND, Samuel. Picturesque Views on the River Medway, from the Nore to the Vicinity of its Source in Sussex. London: 1793. 4to (227 x 157mm.) 28 plates, occasional illustrations. (Some spotting or browning.) Contemporary half-calf, the flat spine gilt in six compartments, lettered in the second, the other compartments with repeat decoration in gilt (slightly rubbed and scuffed). Provenance: Frederick Nicolay Junior (armorial bookplate); D.A.W. Russell (bookplate).
