BINDINGS. - George Gordon Noel BYRON. Childe Harold's Pilgrimage… new edition. London: 1881. 8vo (164 x 99mm.) Engraved frontispiece, occasional illustrations. (Occasional spotting or browning.) Contemporary vellum gilt, by Ferdinando Ongania of Venice, the covers with foliate red and green calf onlays contained within three triple fillet rectangular panels divided by foliate motifs in gilt, all contained within a border of line and rolled tools, the spine gilt in five compartments, lettered in the second, the other compartments with decoration in gilt, gilt turn-ins, g.e. (some soiling). - And one other vellum-bound volume (2).
