A Japanese Satsuma earthenware model of an elephant by Kizan, Meiji period, modelled standing, its saddle cloth thickly enamelled in blue, red and green, and ornamented in gilt with a design of birds, flowers, scrolls and trellis, gilt signature to rear, length approx 22cm.
