(Minor offsetting.) Contemporary morocco gilt by Zaehnsdorf, the covers with concentric rectangles, the spine in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second and fourth, the others with repeat decoration in gilt, wide gilt turn-ins, g.e. (extremities scuffed, spine darkened). Provenance: Alice S. Northcote (bookplate).
