PITT RIVERS, Augustus Henry Lane Fox. Excavations in Cranborne Chase, near Rushmore, on the Borders of Dorset and Wilts. [N.p.:] printed privately, 1887. 4 vols., 4to (307 x 243mm.) Numerous plates, folding maps, and occasional illustrations. (Some browning and soiling.) Original cloth, t.e.g. (spines worn, stitching weak). Provenance: Bradford Free Library (presentation inscriptions to title-pages from the author, bookplates, perforation stamp to titles and ink stamp verso of all plates).
