An Edwardian Art Nouveau mahogany writing cabinet, in the manner of Shapland & Petter, the inverted breakfront canopy top above a triple panelled fall flap inlaid with long stems issuing stylized flowers, hinged to reveal a satinwood-lined interior of pigeonholes, drawers and a cupboard, the frieze fitted with a single drawer, on tapering block supports, united by an undertier, height approx 128cm, width approx 72cm.
