An early 20th Century Louis Vuitton trunk, 'Specially made for the Encyclopaedia Britannica', the removable lid, sides and base covered in the 'LV' monogram and quatrefoils, the corners and edges with tooled leather and brass mounts, the interior numbered '209690', height approx 27cm, length approx 90cm, depth approx 33cm (lacking leather handle and interior divides).
