A Victorian silver Fiddle and Thread pattern harlequin part canteen of cutlery, comprising eleven dessert forks, twelve teaspoons and a pair of sauce ladles, London 1850 by George Adams, six table forks, London 1844 by Joseph & Albert Savory, four table forks, London 1885 by John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater, two table forks, London 1861 by Henry & Henry Lias, eleven dessert spoons, London 1853 and 1854 by Henry & Henry Lias, and six table spoons, London 1843, 1844, 1849 and 1852 by various makers, together with twelve matching plated table knives and eleven dessert knives, within an oak canteen box, detailed 'Makepeace & Walford... London'.
