An early 20th Century mahogany Carlton House desk with overall foliate inlaid decoration within satinwood crossbanded borders, the typical curved gallery back fitted with four central drawers flanked by cupboards and letter compartments, the pull-out writing surface inset with leather above two frieze drawers, on square tapering legs and spade feet, height approx 105cm, width approx 122cm.
