LOT 1025
A large Chinese archaistic bronze hu vase, Han style but 16th Century, the stout body cast with bands of taotie masks flanked by a pair of mask and loose ring handles, beneath a slightly flared neck with four further masks, tongue and loose rings applied to upright lappet panels, raised on a similarly cast circular foot, height approx 42.5cm.
