[N.p.: n.d. but watermarked circa 1823-1836]. 3 volumes, folio (365 x 270mm.) 357 original watercolours on thick laid paper (190 x 295mm. and smaller.) Some with the butterflies bodies and wings painted on 'pith paper', cut-out, laid down and details such as antennae added as necessary. (Some drawings loosely inserted, occasional slight damage to the 'pith paper' examples.) Uniform blue half-calf over marbled paper-covered boards (scuffed, some joints slightly split) (3).
