SPILSBURY, F.B. Picturesque Scenery in the Holy Land and Syria delineated during the campaigns of 1799 and 1800. By… Spilsbury… surgeon in that expedition during both campaigns. London: printed for G.S. Tregear by Howlett & Brimmer, 1823. 4to (270 x 210mm). 19 hand-coloured aquatint plates. (Frontispiece and title spotted, some damp-staining.) Later red half-morocco (worn, scuffed with damage to surface of the leather, joints slightly split). Provenance: Francis Gray Smart (armorial bookplate); The Library Collection of the Late W. Leslie Weller MBE, DL, FSA.
