A Japanese silver gilt and enamel bottle base, Meiji period, the ovoid body decorated in relief with a bird perched in a blossoming branch with clouds beyond, picked out in red, blue, yellow and green enamel, the flared narrow neck and tripod ruyi head feet decorated with polychrome flower sprays, applied signature plaque to base, height approx 14.5cm (repair to neck and some enamel loss).
