LOT 334
A Victorian silver presentation trowel, the foliate scroll engraved blade inscribed 'Presented to Willm. Childs Webb Esquire, Mayor of Newport. In grateful acknowledgment of His Laying The Foundation Stone of the New Wesleyan Methodist Chapel in RISCA, Monmouthshire, 2nd September 1851', the scroll handle decorated with fleur-de-lis and foliate scrolls, London 1851 by George W. Adams, length approx 37cm.
