LOT 2050
A 17th Century and later oak cupboard, enclosed by a pair of doors with overall applied geometric mouldings, centred by lion masks and flanked by mask and leaf herm pilasters, raised on bun feet, height approx 92cm, width approx 153cm (alterations). Note: for a similar example see Cescinsky & Gribble 'Early English Furniture and Woodwork', plate 108, page 78. Provenance: from the Estate of the Late W. Leslie Weller MBE, DL, FSA.
