A Japanese Satsuma earthenware trumpet vase, Meiji period, the flared body painted and gilt with four standing figures within lotus filled lappet panel borders on three simulated bamboo feet, gilt signature to base, height approx 30.5cm, together with a larger Satsuma vase, painted and gilt with flowers within simulated brocade borders, gilt signature to base, height approx 47cm (drilled hole to base and both with faults).
