A Victorian Tunbridge ware rosewood writing box, bearing applied paper label marked 'T. Barton Late Nye, Manufacturer...', the hinged lid inlaid with a rose spray within a mosaic flowerhead border, the flared sides decorated with a further floral band, the interior fitted with a pen compartment and inkwell, height approx 7cm, width approx 32cm.
